The Dv3Studio Mobile module comprises of various components which provide the means for a developer to convert existing desktop forms to a format for mobile devices. Dv3Studio provides the same rapid mobile development tools, controls and drag ‘n´ drop designer for the mobile solution as it does for the desktop solution. Applications developed for the mobile device such as our own Dv3 CIM solution, will operate on WinCE and Windows Mobile 6. While some solutions require a continuous connection to the server to enable field or warehouse personnel to access data, Dv3Studio provides multiple operating modes to ensure that productivity is not interrupted. All rapid prototyping software tools are built to maximize performance, connectivity and operability and maintain productivity in the most efficient manner and minimize data transfer when synchronizing. Dv3Studio includes synchronizers for both desktop/laptop Pc’s and Pocket PC’s. Various field management tools provide the administrator with options to streamline data transfer routines and also secure information in the event of stolen or lost devices. Any Dv3Studio application can be disabled or even deleted if a user does not log in within specified time intervals. Dv3 applications, both server and mobile applications, will run on virtually all office PC’s and a wide range of mobile platforms running the Microsoft .Net Framework and the Microsoft .Net Compact Framework version 1.1 and 2.0. Datimo supports open XML standards and uses standard HTTP/HTTPS internet protocols. Supported mobile computing devices include Pocket PC’s, laptops and notebooks, combined PDA - mobile phone devices, ruggedized Pocket PC’s and tablet computers. Solutions can also be connected to complementary devices such as barcode scanners, GPS systems, portable printers, vehicle tracking systems and more.
