Dv3-CIM Mobile is a business user-oriented platform used to manage and track inventory in customer locations in a mobile-based application.

This application is geared to work as a companion with Dv3-CIM Desktop. While the desktop application manages, optimizes and administers consignment and sold product movements throughout warehouses and customer locations, the mobile solution is intended mainly for the field agent to track consignment stock using mobile devices.


This application provides the field agent with modules to:
  • Perform stock takes of products at customer locations
  • Dispatch and receive products to and from locations
  • Print stock take reports for customers
  • Account for stock level variations
  • Search for product availability

Upon completion of a stock take in a location, the field agent synchronizes with the desktop or server and updates the inventory status accordingly.

Dv3-CIM Mobile operates both on and off-line thus being independent of network availability and will synchronize back to the desktop or server solution using our Dv3-PPC Sync module. Synchronization modes include direct connection, web service and GPRS. The system will automatically decide when a full sync vs. an incremental sync takes place.

For security reasons, this application on the Pocket PC’s can be disabled by the administrator at the flick of a switch.
